Pembrokeshire
Skomer and its near neighbour Skokholm are among the finest islands in Europe for breeding seabirds and host the major Puffin colonies in south-west Britain. Overview Skomer, a National Nature Reserve since 1959, is managed by the Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales. The largest of the Pembrokeshire islands and easily accessible when weather permits, the island has plenty to offer for a day’s birding.
