Wedi ei leoli mewn dyffryn hardd a heddychlon gyda golygfeydd gwefreiddiol o fryniau tonnog - 1 filltir o bentref Tal-y-bont gyda tafarn, siop, ardal chwarae i blant ayb. Taith fer i’r gorllewin ac fe ddewch at draethau hardd y Borth ac Ynys Las, gyda thref arfordirol boblogaidd Aberystwyth 8 milltir i’r de a thref hanesyddol Machynlleth 11 milltir i’r gogledd.

Up a private lane, this 5 star cottage is one of two adjoining south facing cottages in a beautiful rural valley with excellent views of rolling hills. Only 1 mile from Tal-y-bont village with Pubs, Shop, Garage and children’s play area. Enjoy this attractive valley which is convenient to both the Seaside and the Cambrian Mountains with walking and cycling opportunities.

8 miles from the University and Seaside town of Aberystwyth with its National Library, Museum and Castle, a wide range of amenities including a Leisure Centre, Shopping, Golf Course, cycle trail and also a Narrow Gage Railway leading to Devils Bridge with its famous Water Falls and many lovely walks. The Aberystwyth area offers some spectacular landscapes and scenery, as featured on Hinterland / Y Gwyll; a ground-breaking, dual-language detective drama set against the stunning backdrop of west Wales.

11 miles from the Historic Town of Machynlleth with its Cycling Trails, Footpaths, Leisure Centre, Golf Course, unique shops, Wales’ first Parliament House dating back to the 15th Century and the oldest Street Market in Britain every Wednesday. A few more miles North is the Centre for Alternative Technology and just a little further is the Corris Craft Centre and King Arthur’s Labyrinth.

Perfect for luxury family holidays, other things to do and see in the area include the Ynyslas Nature Reserve and sand dunes, R.S.P.B at Ynyshir, walking, cycling, sightseeing, seaside, golfing, bird watching and fishing. The Silver and Lead Mines at Llywernog and the Water Falls and Steps at Devils Bridge are also well worth a visit.

Beautiful beaches within 7 miles at Borth and Ynys Las, with the popular seaside town of Aberystwyth just 8 miles away.

Cycle path for 3 miles approximately from village along main road and many other cycle paths within a few miles. Also endless rural roads for walking and cycling.

Dyfi Mountain Biking – All routes start from Machynlleth. 11 miles

Nant yr Arian Mountain Biking Centre - one of the premier Mountain Biking centres in Wales. 14 miles

Bird watching

R.S.P.B. at Ynyshir, Dyfi Osprey Project, Red Kite Feeding Centre at Nant yr Arian.

Golf

Within 7 miles of Borth Golf Club. 9 miles to Aberystwyth Golf Club. 12 miles to Machynlleth Golf Club. Other smaller Golf Clubs available at Capel Bangor and Rhydyfelin.
