If guests can bear to tear themselves away from this luxurious accommodation, it is just a short stroll into Porthmadog, for shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as the Marina, Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Steam Railways, golf club and much, much more. The Glaslyn Estuary is a haven for wildlife, including rare and migrating sea birds; there are walks and cycle routes, mountains and beaches all within easy reach.

Porthmadog is situated in a stunning coastal location at the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. This bustling small town has a comprehensive range of shops and restaurants and a pretty conservation quayside and is also home to the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Steam Railway, a must for children and adults of any age.

Just around the corner is the Victorian seaside resort of Borth y Gest  with its pretty harbour, sheltered beach and lovely walking along the coast to sheltered coves with stunning views down the welsh coastline. Black Rock Sands, with its large golden beach has areas where car access is allowed so is perfect for boats and jet skis.

A short drive down the coast is the famous Italianate village of Portmerion, full of charm and history, in a beautiful location with delightful walks and gardens.  The historic castles and pretty villages at Criccieth and Harlech are also within easy reach. Within half an hour's drive you can be exploring the coastal paths of the Lleyn Peninsula or the mountains and lakes of the Snowdonia National Park with mountain walking, rock climbing, kayaking and cycling or just  travelling around sightseeing. For those seeking man made adventure, Zip World Titan and Bounce Below underground trampolines are 15 miles away at Blaenau Ffestiniog.
