Sea View is located near Moelfre and is in a great spot from which to explore Anglesey. The island of Anglesey has a unique cultural and industrial heritage, wonderful beaches, coastal walking on the Anglesey Coast path (part of the Wales Coast Path) and cycling on quiet rural roads.

Moelfre is a pretty village with an interesting maritime history with a memorial to the shipwreck of the Royal Charter and a famous lifeboat station. The nearby beaches are also spectacular and well worth a visit whether it’s for a family beach day, some watersports or a walk along the beach. And talking about walking a walk along the Wales Coast Path in this area is a must with some great options for some circular walks to explore. Dolphins can often be spotted of the coast as well so look out for them when on your walk.

Local family friendly attractions include the Anglesey Sea Zoo, Plas Newydd (a National Trust site), Beaumaris Castle, and  trip on the Menai Strait with Rib Ride.  


Lligwy Beach - Sandy Beach located just round the corner from Moelfre, facilities include  toilets, car parks and a shop - 1 miles.

Benllech Beach – Long sandy beach – Blue Flag award and a huge family favourite. 3 miles


Surfing, diving, kayaking, coasteering, sailing etc are all within ½ hour of the cottage.


Anglesey Coastal Path – 125 circular walk around the Island. The nearest section can be joined at Lligwy 1.4miles

Pentraeth Forest Circular Walk – Pentraeth. Gentle 9 mile, scenic walk. 6.5 miles from cottage.

Parys Mountain – Amlwch. 4.8 circular walk around this lunar style copper mountain. 5.5 miles from cottage.


Storws Wen Golf Club – Benllech. 9 hole golf course. 3 miles.

Henllys Golf Club – Beaumaris. 18 hole golf course. 12.5 miles.


Hebog Cycle Path – 22 mile circular route from Benllech. 3 miles from cottage.
