5 – There are cycling, walking and running trails at Newborough forest, with plenty of information available. See if you can spot one of the Red Squirrels in this nature reserve? Or Walk to the tidal Ynys Llanddwyn (Llanddwyn Island) to visit the ancient lighthouse, tiny pilot house terrace museum or ponder the legend of Saint Dwynwen, the welsh patron saint of lovers.

6 – More cycling and walking can be had along the Lon Las Cefni from the coast to the town of Llangefni, mostly flat and traffic free, this is a perfect ride for the kids. Visit Oriel Ynys Mon, art gallery with permanent Kyffin Williams exhibition, whilst you are there.
